Keystone Exams will help school districts guide students toward meeting state standards – standards aligned with expectations for success in careers, the workplace, and college. In order to receive a diploma, students must also meet local district credit and attendance requirements and complete a culminating portfolio project, along with any additional district requirements. • Beginning in 2019/2020, BASH will utilize the Keystone Exam as the EOCA for students in Algebra I, English Literature and Biology. The Keystone Exam serves as a measure of student proficiency with this content. The students’ final grade in these courses will be adjusted in the summer to account for the Keystone Exam grade, which will be one fifth of the final grade, as is the case with all EOCAs. Students and parents will be notified of the final grade via mail and any scheduling adjustments necessary will be made before the start of the next school year.
