2019 2019-20 20 Tea eacher her and nd Princ ncipal Sa Salary Sc Sched hedul ules es: Fo For Adoption n by the he Richm hmond nd City Sc Scho hool Board Overview of Changes to the Teacher Salary Scale Assuming Council approval of its consensus budget and Board adoption of this proposal, the 2019-20 Teacher Salary Scale will include: A uniform 1.17% step differential between years of service, with all teachers receiving that 1.17% increase for • the 2019-20 school year*; and A 3% raise for the 2019-20 school year (bringing the total raise for the biennium to 5%). • Please see Appendix A for the complete proposed 2019-20 Teacher Salary Scale. *In a few cases, the current teacher scale has a step increase larger than 1.17%. When this teacher moves to Step 6 next year (in the same Grade and Lane), her salary would increase to $52,238, an an increase of $2,108 annually, or 4.2% (3% raise + 1.17% step increase).
