What has happened so far. • During 2015-16 as part of Wellington Community Service a survey was put together by Students and carried out in the Village and they presented the results to Crowthorne Parish Council in March 2016. • Crowthorne Parish Council applied for Neighbourhood Area to be designated in March 2016. Approved -15 th June 2016. • Unfortunately due to personal reasons progress on the plan has been delayed during the early part of 2017. October 2017 4
What has happened so far. • Neighbourhood Planning Support Agreement signed with Bracknell Forest Council. • Appointment of Consultant approved by Council on August 1 st 2017. • Application for Locality Grant submitted. • Contract signed with rCOH Ltd now renamed as ONeill Homer Ltd. • Grant awarded by Locality. • Support from AECOM. Other Steps Taken to date. • Working Group set up under the Crowthorne Parish Council’s – Major Development Planning Committee who : - – Initialise Working Group to finalise list of Major Stakeholders. October 2017 6
Who are our Stakeholders. • Wellington College – Original part of Crowthorne development since late 1800’s and today major employer in the Village with staff not only living within the College Grounds but also currently owns or leases some 30 properties in the Village. • Broadmoor Hospital – Original part of Crowthorne development since late 1800’s but today not a major employer of local residents. • Neighbouring Parishes - Wokingham Without PC and Sandhurst Town Council. Who are our Stakeholders. • Crowthorne Village Action Group - Who are a residents association, their “Crowthorne Village Design Statement” will be an valuable source of information during the development of the Plan. • M.O.D. – Sandhurst Range partly within Parish Boundary. • Crowthorne Traders. • Crowthorne Schools – Edgbarrow, C of E and Wildmoor Heath. • Crowthorne Churches together.
