2015 USI Urban Informatics Capstone Presentations About the USI Capstone Projects The Urban Science Intensive is a two-semester capstone sequence that is the experiential learning focus of the CUSP M.S. program. At its core is team-based work on a real-world urban problem, combining problem identification and evaluation, data collection and analysis, data visualization and communication, and finally, solution formulation and implementation. Students work as part of integrated teams with Agency and Industry Partners, immersed in the public aspects of the project About CUSP The Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) is a unique public-private research center that uses New York City as its laboratory and classroom to help cities around the world become more productive, livable, equitable, and resilient. CUSP observes, analyzes, and models cities to optimize outcomes, prototype new solutions, formalize new tools and processes, and develop new expertise/experts. These activities will make CUSP the world’s leading authority in the emerging field of “Urban Informatics.” CUSP | #nyucusp
