  5. 10/20/2014 A RT W ORKS F UNDS P ROJECTS A CROSS ALL D ISCIPLINES T HAT S UPPORT THE F OLLOWING 4 O UTCOMES : - C reation - Engagement - Learning - Livability D EADLINES ARE IN F EB /M ARCH & J ULY /A UGUST ▪ Projects must have a start date 10 months after the application deadline ▪ Some outcomes in some disciplines are only eligible at a specific deadlines G RANTS R ANGE FROM $10,000 TO $100,000 T HE N EXT D EADLINE IS F EB 2015 • Applicants are notified of awards within 6 months • Emphasis on underserved communities that have limited access to the arts due to geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability • All grants are $10,000 T HE N EXT D EADLINE IS M AY 2015 • General operating support • Individuals • Individual schools • Facility construction, purchase, or renovation • Commercial, for-profit enterprises • Creation of new organizations • Academic degrees • Re-granting • Projects that replace arts instruction provided by a classroom teacher or an arts specialist 5
