Biographical Information Eleanor Palmer Bailey, Associate Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Corporate Tax Office of General Counsel Nationwide Insurance One Nationwide Plaza, Mailstop 1-32-102, Columbus, Ohio 43215 Phone: 614-677-6330 palmere5@nationwide.com Eleanor Palmer is a tax attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Nationwide Insurance. She is responsible for identifying and managing Nationwide’s tax exposure and providing counsel on tax matters related to business initiatives. Eleanor has assisted with mergers and acquisitions, tax controversies, investment structuring, employee health & welfare and fringe benefits, agent and executive compensation and various projects presenting unintended tax consequences. In coordination with the Government Relations Team, Eleanor keeps abreast of federal, state and local tax legislation affecting the enterprise, its insurance agents and policyholders and advises the business units on the appropriate course of action. Prior to joining Nationwide, Eleanor was a Manager in Ernst & Young’s State and Local Tax Group. Eleanor is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she received a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration. She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakwood University, and now serves on its National Alumni Association Board of Directors. Eleanor is admitted to the Ohio Bar and is most active with the Columbus Bar Association’s Business Tax Committee and the John Mercer Langston Bar Association. She has been a speaker on tax matters at the Ohio Tax Conference, the Columbus Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Eleanor is currently the chairperson of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce’s Taxation and Public Expenditures Committee. M. Tony worked in the Legal Division under a number of Tax Commissioners and was responsible for administrative hearings, legislative review, and acted as a liaison with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for review of mediation requests filed with the Board of Tax Appeals. Tony then moved onto Honda of America Mfg., in 2001. Tony worked within the General Counsel office and supported various internal business groups at Honda. As Tony awaits the publication of his 1st children’s book: Tax Policy Analytics for 3rd Graders, he shifted his focus to government relations. Tony now focuses on tax, economic development, transportation, and general economic policy matters for the 9,000 business members of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Tony graduated with a B.A. from Mount Union College and received a J.D. from the Toledo College of Law.

She is a recently retired Partner from JC & Company, where she was the CEO (4 years) and CFO (6 years). She was responsible for overseeing the accounting and auditing division for the firm with responsibilities that include technical review, planning of the engagements, overseeing the fieldwork, conducting conferences, coordination of the peer review process, report writing and developing staff. Jeanette is currently the CFO for Ludowici Roof Tile, a manufacturing company of clay roof tiles. The company has been in business for 130 years and produces tile for projects all over the world. Ludowici is the US Division of Terreal France. Education Bachelors in Business Administration majoring in accounting and business pre-law and Masters of Business Administration – Ohio University. She is responsible for overall tax strategy for all Crane Group Companies, investments, family and family entities as well as the research, analysis, and structuring of potential business acquisitions from a tax perspective. Ashley is involved the planning and execution of Crane’s various tax positions, ultimately implementing strategies to minimize the overall tax consequences of the company and family. Prior to joining Crane Group, Ashley worked in public accounting. She began her career at Deloitte in 2006 in the real estate tax practice working with commercial real estate development companies and their owners. She then joined Rea & Associates as a Senior Tax Manager in 2015, working with clients across the firm on formation, structure, and transaction planning issues with a focus on partnership taxation. Ashley received her Bachelor of Science from Ohio Dominican University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
