PURPOSE IWPi (Integrated Wildlife Protection interventions) exists to: Provide integrated capabilities , technologies , training and services to organisations which protect wildlife and confront wildlife crime.

IWP • A strategic priority for Born Free • Most areas of work are already underway (community education, support to ranger services, IWT policy, protected area management….) across all Tiers of Born Free work. Deployment of emerging technologies and protective strategies where needed: defined as IWPi (IWP Interventions) In practice; we will explore and support the very best options for service support, including: • Aerial platforms such as autogyros • Secure communications • Advanced surveillance optics and sensors • Tracking and intelligence technologies • Properly trained and equipped ranger services • Detection, enforcement and prosecution

They are: Chimera Aviation Ltd - innovative and highly capable low-cost aerial surveillance and observation aircraft, air operations planning and standards, audit and training, pilot and observer training and instruction; Kinetic Six Ltd - a specialist in tracking, communications and command and control services, systems and equipment, with 7 years of experience supporting conservation in Africa; Endangered Species Protection Agency (ESPA), a specialist training, mentoring and anti-poaching operation, not-for-profit provider; Themis Ltd, an intelligence, rule of law and anti-corruption consultancy that provides investigative and prosecutorial education and direct services, internationally.
