Questions arising • Is ‘critical digital literacy’ an elite and fairly advanced meta-language? • Or is it a stance towards technology and its uses, available to anyone with some digital know-how? • Is it too much a discourse of (or too readily assimilated into) the Western academic tradition? • In what spaces do people develop critical literacies of the digital? Are they (mainly) formally educational? • How can approaches to critical digital literacy development be sustained?
