  13. Timings We will be leaving at 8.20am on Monday 5 th November and should return by 3.30pm on Friday 9 th November.

  14. Health and Safety • Medication needs to be clearly labelled and given to your child’s class teacher on the morning of departure. Administration will be monitored and recorded by the teacher and teacher assistant for each class. If you would like to discuss medication in more detail please talk to your child’s class teacher. • Food is excellent at Sayers Croft – please make any dietary requirements clear on the forms. • If for any reason your child is unwell or has an accident, there are First Aiders on site that Brookfield staff will work closely with, if needs be. In the rare event of a child needing to visit a GP or A & E department Mark/ Laurel and parents and carers will be consulted with and kept closely informed. • Please ensure that the office has your up-to-date emergency contact details.

  15. What to take • DON’T buy new clothes • Bin liners • Hat / gloves / scarf • 1 pair of shoes that can get muddy • 1 pair of wellingtons (provided if nec.) • 1 pair of slippers (or thick socks)

What to take • Night wear and dressing gown • 5 pairs of warm socks & spares • Lots of underwear • 1 warm coat with hood • Waterproof cagoule (or similar) • 3 pairs of warm trousers • 2 warm jumpers • T-shirts / polo necks / sweatshirts • Washing kit – 2 towels, soap and flannel • Hair kit – shampoo, brush and comb • Book bag, PACT book and reading diary • ALL medication clearly labelled handed to teacher

  17. What to take • NO electronic items – Kindle is a possibility (speak to class teacher) • NO mobile phones / games consoles / MP3 players or digital cameras • One appropriate DVD – U or PG • Disposable cameras • SAE envelope for a letter home • £6 in clearly marked envelope

  18. Cost Sayers Croft is really good value: • £152 per week paid in advance • £76 contribution if your child receives free school meals • Payable in instalments • £10 deposit payable by Monday 8 th October • Please pay in full by Friday 26th October • Cee is happy to talk to you if you have any concerns about payment
