BONCOMPREHENSIVE CHANGES Ø Specialised radiology - Combined IH/OOH family limit Ø Hip and knee replacements: - Make subject to ICPS and other preferred providers, R6 000 copayment where PP not used Ø Spinal surgery - Promote conservative treatment by introducing R6 000 copayment for spinal surgery without prior DBC intervention Ø Oncology treatment: - Introduce ICON as preferred provider, similar to other options BONCLASSIC CHANGES Ø Paramedical - Collapse separate Physio OOH benefit into Paramedical OOH benefit Ø Radiology & pathology - Collapse Radiology OOH benefit into Pathology OOH benefit, i.e. make it a combined benefit Ø Specialised drugs (non-oncology) - Benefit removed
