EXPECTATIONS Purpose and Vision: All FHS students will be Life, Career, and College ready What do we hope to accomplish? Student Outcomes/Expectations The student will: • Obtain a High School diploma with age appropriate peers • Demonstrate WICOR (AVID strategies) in each classroom each day • Achieve at least 70% on all assessments • Consistently self-regulate behavior in both individual and group settings according to our FHS Shared Values without adult assistance

PARENT INVOLVEMENT ASSISTANT Ways to be involved: • Donating to School Programs/ABC/PBIS • I would love to see our students get engaged with helping their own peers...Have something you don’t wear or cant use anymore? Bring it! Peers supporting peers... • Supporting Teachers and staff (example) PRINCIPAL'S DAY annually observed on May 1st, 2020 ~Teacher Appreciation Week, Secretary's Day etc. • Tutoring Students • Volunteering for sporting events, chaperoning dances, field trips etc. • Joining SAC (Student Advisory Council) • Sponsoring clubs (band, etc.)

One of which must be Biology I, two of which must have a laboratory component • 3 Credits Social Studies a. 1 credit in World History b. 1 credit in U.S. History c. .5 credit in U.S. Government .5 credit in Economics • 1 Credit Fine and Performing Arts, Speech and Debate, or Practical Arts • 1 Credit Physical Education-Hope • 8 Elective Credits 1 Online Course • Students must earn a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

STATE TESTING SCORES Students must pass the following statewide assessments: • Grade 10 ELA 350 or SAT 430 EBRW or ACT Reading 19 • Algebra I end-of-course (EOC) 497 or PERT math 97, or PSAT/NMSQT 430, or SAT Math 420 or ACT Math 16 Students must participate in the following EOC assessments and the results are 30% of final grade: • Algebra I* - Biology I • Geometry* - U.S. History

ACADEMIC INTERVENTIONS GRADUATION ENHANCEMENT COACH • Eschool • APPEX During and After school APEX and Credit Recovery . Credit Recovery . When students fail a course at the high school level, they have to make it up in order to receive credits toward high school graduation. These Credit Recovery courses are offered during the Semester after-school and allows students to earn credits they did not receive last • Tutoring
SOCIAL WORKER Assists with: • Students in crisis • Emergency situations • Displaced students (Students in Transition SIT) • Safety Plan • Counseling referrals (coping skills, grief counseling) • Helping to remove social, emotional, and environmental barriers to learning
