Why a Study? • Identified in the Globeville Neighborhood Plan as a Transformative Project • Address the changing land uses and the future vision for the corridor as a mixed use street. Washington Street has the opportunity to establish a neighborhood identity and catalyze redevelopment and reinvestment in the area. • Some of those changes include: A main street to the Globeville Neighborhood New entrances to the National Western Center A connection to I-70 and Brighton Boulevard and the 38th & Blake Station Link to Adams County • Design and technical elements in realizing the vision for improvements for implementation 5 Washington Street Study
