TS EAMCET-2020 Computer Based Test (CBT) is being conducted for the Third time by JNTUH TS EAMCET–2020: Engineering Stream(E) 6 th July, 2020 from 09-00 AM to 12-00 Noon (FN) and 3-00 PM to 6-00 PM (AN) • 7 th July, 2020 from 09-00 AM to 12-00 Noon (FN) and 3-00 PM to 6-00 PM (AN) • 8 th July, 2020 from 09-00 AM to 12-00 Noon (FN) • TS EAMCET–2020: Agriculture & Medical Stream (AM) 8 th July, 2020 from 03-00 PM to 06-00 PM (AN) • 9 th July, 2020 from 09-00 AM to 12-00 Noon (FN) and 3-00 PM to 6-00 PM (AN) •
COVID-19 Specific Special Instructions • Candidates must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the exam venue. Candidates need to follow directions given by representatives & need to stand in the circles drawn at the entry points. • Candidates must bring their own Mask and a simple pen. Candidates may also bring gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml) and transparent water bottle (if the candidates wish). No other items will be permitted inside exam venue. • A Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on her/his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu dashboard must show candidate’s risk factor. A candidate will have to show this dashboard to the Security Guard at the entrance of the exam venue. THIS IS MANDATORY. In case a candidate does not have a smart phone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect (declaration is provided along with Admit Card) and show the same to the Security Guard at the entrance of the exam venue. • Temperature of candidates will be checked at the entrance of the exam venue via a Thermo Gun. Candidates with high temperature or other COVID-19 symptoms will be seated in a separate exam room/lab/hall for the safety of everyone. • Mapping of ‘Candidate Hall Ticket Number and the room/hall/Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of entry of the candidates to the exam venue after the verification of their Admit Card and ID. • At registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using the sanitizer provided. Photograph will be captured during the registration process. • Candidates are required to report at the exam venue entrance as per the time slot intimated to them via SMS or email on their registered mobile number/email prior to exam date. It is expected that candidates strictly adhere to this time slot – as entry into the test center will be provided based on the individual’s time slot ONLY.

Computer Based Test (CBT) • The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a simple and better way to conduct exams using Computers • Testing is done in person, on a computer, at an approved testing center • With the Technological developments, the CBT is becoming the standard format for most of the entrance tests.
Merits of CBT 1. Candidates are free to change their answers at any point of time during the CBT 2. As there is no bubbling involved in CBT, the chances for wrong bubbling is completely eliminated 3. Candidates can see a Countdown Timer in the top right corner of screen 4. Test duration is 180 minutes in which candidate should answer 160 Questions 5. At any point of time, candidate has a complete view of number of Questions answered / not answered / answered and marked for review/ not answered marked for review/not visited
Candidate is expected to know about Computer operations to take CBT • Operating a Computer Mouse: single click and scrolling the bar with mouse • Keyboard is not required during Examination OMR SHEET COMPUTER SCREEN AND PEN MOUSE • The Candidates are advised to read the instructions before starting the examination and also can go through the instructions on screen while answering the questions

Steps for CBT 1. Candidate should verify the Hall Ticket Number displayed on the allocated system and enter the password 2. Verify personal information along with photograph displayed on the computer system used for taking the CBT. If any mismatch in the data, immediately the candidate should report to the invigilator. Read all the instructions carefully 3. Click on Check box “I have read and understood the instructions…..” after reading the instructions 4. Click on “I am ready to begin ” button 5. Start answering the questions
Instructions for TS EAMCET-2020 • Candidate should report at Test Center two hours before the commencement of the test on the date and time mentioned in the Hall Ticket • Candidates will not be allowed into the Test Center even if they are LATE BY A MINUTE after the commencement of the test and not allowed to leave the examination hall till the END of the examination (i.e.,12.00 Noon in forenoon session and 6.00 PM in afternoon session) under any circumstances • Hall Ticket & ID verification will be done at the entrance of the test center and allowed after complying with all the rules of the Test • TS EAMCET-2020 officials will take candidate’s Photograph • Invigilators will guide candidates to their respective computers / nodes allotted
Login On the allotted Computer / Node, Candidate’s details (Name, Photograph etc.) will be displayed as shown below At the scheduled time (15 minutes before the start of the Test), Enter Username and Password as instructed by the Invigilator in the exam hall After entering Username and Password click on “Sign In” button For any system related assistance, contact the invigilators by raising hand

Test Taking Process • Questions are displayed one at a time in English and Telugu languages (English and Urdu languages if medium of test selected as Urdu in Online application). • Questions in Mathematics / Biology & Zoology, Physics and Chemistry are displayed in different Sections (Subjects) • Candidate should select the Section (Subject) which he / she would like to start the Test • 1 st Question from the selected Section (Subject) gets displayed for answering or Click on the question number in the Question Palette in the right side of your screen to go to that numbered question directly • Question and options for the selected question number will be displayed in “Question window”
Note that ONLY Questions for which answers are saved by clicking on “Save & Next” button or “Mark for Review and Next” button after answering will be considered for evaluation
Test Taking Process Contd.. • Select any one of the four options as answer for the question by clicking on the radio button (small circle) beside each option • To change the already chosen answer, click on the radio button (small circle) of another option. If you want to remove the answer, click on Clear Response button • To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button and then go to the next question, otherwise your answer will not be saved • After answering a question to mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. If an answered question is selected for Mark for Review, that answer will be considered in the evaluation
