GRANT OVERVIEW  C/CAG is designated the County Program Manager to receive 40% of the Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) Funds.  A one-time total of $550,000 of TFCA County Program Manager Funds are available.  Minimum Grant Awards : $100,000  Maximum Grant Awards: $550,000  Eligible Applicants  Cities, towns, county and transit agencies in San Mateo County  Other entities may partner with an eligible applicant

  4. ELIGIBLE PROJECTS  Traffic Calming Projects – quick build  Arterial Traffic Management utilizing bicycle and/or pedestrian improvement advanced technology projects

EVALUATION PROCESS Step 1 ) Complete Cost Effectiveness Worksheet Grant Criteria (up to 100 points)  Cost Effectiveness Evaluation Results (up to 40 points) Project Category Maximum C/E ($/weighted ton)  Safety (up to 20 points) Arterial Management 175,000 Traffic Calming  Project Readiness and Timely Use of Funds (up to 15 175,000 points) Step 2) Fill Out Grant Application and Provide  Community Support (up to 10 points) Supplemental Materials  Innovative (up to 10 points)  Countywide Plans/Consistency (up to 5 points)
