Topic Answer: In the lecture, the lecturer explained the concept of tropism. Question: What is tropism? Definition Answer: Tropism is when a plant, or part of a plant, bends in response to outside stimulus. Question: How many types of tropism did the lecturer introduce? Structure (Introduce Answer: The lecturer introduced three types of tropism. the Detail) These were phototropism, geotropism, and hydrotropism. Question: What is phototropism? Answer: A plant under the effect of phototropism bends in the direction of a light source, such as the sun. Question: What is geotropism? First, the professor reminded students that the presentation is worth 50% of their overall grade. Next, the professor explained the topic of the presentation. She told the students that in their presentations they must explain an economic theory and apply it to a present day situation. She reminded students to include enough facts about the present day situation in their presentations. Third, regarding timing, the lecturer said that students have only five minutes for their presentation, and that they have to present about both the theory and the present day example within that five minutes. Finally, the lecturer explained there will be five minutes after each presentation for questions and answers. She told students that they are all expected to ask questions during the Q&A period.
