5/1/17 Expanding the Work Force Working aged males leave for war … Who is going to enter the work force? Women in the Workforce With the world and the men at war … it becomes much more socially acceptable for women to leave the home to work. 6

Minorities More jobs are available, but are they available for everyone? Segregation is still largely in effect, but jobs DO become slightly more available OVER TIME. 7
