The Marriage Course
Who is The Marriage Course for? • Good relationships • Married 5 years or more • Tough relationships • Married less than 5 years
What is it? 8 Dinner Dates w/ Dessert, a DVD and Discussion Christian-based program but general enough for anyone to participate Discussion is ONLY within the couple
When/Where does it take place? In a church or community centre. In a home setting. Annually or bi-annually Whenever it’s convenient for you. No training needed!
Why should we do it? • Growing closer as a couple is the physical manifestation of God • Parents’ unity is the bedrock of the family • The example of our marriages will affect our children’s future relationship(s). • The next generation must be inspired to follow in our footsteps
Why should we do it? • “Natural” witnessing • Providing a service to the greater community • Generate funds to support the community
We’d love to but… • We don’t need to ‘fix’ our marriage • Need to convince my other half • Working late or odd hours • We have young children • My spouse’s English isn’t great • It’s a bit expensive • We’ve been married for so long already
