Chris has been flying on the South African air show circuit for the last 24 years, and has displayed in over 400 air shows including being the 1st South African ever to fly a display at Oshkosh, which is the biggest air show in the world. Chris holds a South African ALTP as well as FAA ALTP licenses and has flow in access of 10 000 hours on more than 60 types of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Chris has flown in 18 Presidents Trophy Air Races, has won it once and has been amongst the first 5 to finish 4 times. Chris has been the master mind behind the Race of Champions which him CHRIS BRIERS and his team has organized 4 times in the past. All of these events turned out to be huge successes. Growing up on the airport since 1981 (his father is Giovanni Maiorana, owner of Villa San Giovanni Restaurant) and being exposed to various spheres of the airport his passion and ongoing commitment to the growth and improvement of Wonderboom airport has always been a driving force. From the very first air show in 1984 to the many events that have taken place at Wonderboom over the years, Christian has always played a role in some form or another. Christian’s professionalism, knowledge and talents have been recognized on many of these CHRISTIAN occasions and has planned and produced many events on the airport over the years. Some MAIORANA of the most recent is the air show in 2011, the hot Rod and Muscle car nationals 2014 and 2015, Tshwane / SA Airlink’s launch in 2015 just to mention a few of the bigger events.

We are able to design and construct a menu for any and all kinds of palettes. Be it Canapés, to Bowl food items, to buffets and 5 course meals, our guests are always over fed to perfection Our roaming service style of our catering allows guests the luxury of tasting when and where they wish.

BAR OFFERING Our Hospitality packages normally include a Complimentary bar offering allowing guests the selection of a full local bar with additional Premium Products for sale. This package continues for the the duration of the event. Depending on the clients wishes and the type of the event and size, we can look to offer full cocktail bars, Gin bars and or strictly cash bars. Please note: Should the event obtain a brand partner for stock, the local bar will be based upon their stable of brands.
PRIVATE LOUNGE EXTRAS From first site to last touch, the Private lounge experience needs to be the place where the guests can relax and enjoy the perks they have paid for. Look and Feel is a big one for us. The nicer the venue the higher the ticket price, all within reason. From the Branded Welcome desk where impact is everything, we can supply this exact bar and build on it with the blocks, to the cloak room where our guests can leave their jackets and bags knowing they will be safe. Lighting within the Lounge can be subtle yet warming and aid in the décor and design. Carpeting and or rugs for the Private Lounges is a must, it softens the lounge feel and elevates the private area from the Shared lounge. Anything is possible, it all depends on your wish list and budget
