A three-stage process Stage 1 – Story ideas • Open 21 August – 20 September • Available for anyone in Aotearoa to apply • Endorsement • Successful story ideas move into Stage 2 education.govt.nz 4
A three-stage process Stage 2 – Māori Medium Panel • Open to all Kete 1 Resource development and publishing providers • Review the proposals and tell us what stories you’d like to produce • We’ll match story writers up with providers on the Māori Medium panel and you’ll move to stage 3 education.govt.nz 5
A three-stage process Stage 3 – Proposals • Māori Medium panel providers and writers get together and submit a proposal to us outlining: • what resources you’ll produce • your plan to produce the resources • production and publishing costs. • Proposal evaluation • Resources available to schools and kura by January 2019 education.govt.nz 6
