UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy IPE Committee Chaired by GPSF Senators: Emily Garcia, emily_garcia@unc.edu, and Sam Reidy, sreidy@live.unc.edu ● MISSION: Closely collaborate with other professional programs to create valuable interprofessional ● learning opportunities for pharmacy students RESPONSIBILITIES: ● ○ Represent ESOP IPE chapter at general IPE meetings ○ Host “Dine and Discuss” collaborative patient case studies ○ Maintain leadership contacts in other professional programs ○ Identify and share interprofessional opportunities with the student body ○ Foster opportunities to engage in interprofessional events year-round A novel example of team-based healthcare at the pre professional level!

RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Work directly with the Pharmacy Alumni Association, UNC Pharmacy Foundation, and Alumni ○ Co-chairs in planning the annual Alumni Networking Weekend Represent the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at a variety of alumni events including Alumni ○ tours, Thank-a-thons, football games, class reunions, etc. Attend monthly Alumni Ambassador meetings led by Student Senate Alumni Co-chairs in ○ collaboration with Pharmacy Alumni Association Increase Your Eshelman School of Pharmacy Network While Contributing to Meaningful Experiences for the Student Body
