In brief about us… Non-profit cross-border cooperation organisation from Poland with almost 42 members municipalities and communes of Pomorskie and Warmia-Mazury voivodships (including Elbląg , Gdańsk , Olsztyn, Słupsk , Gdynia)
In brief about us… 17.12.1997 – establishment of The Association of Polish Communes Euroregion Baltic (APCEB) Malbork Feb. 1998 - One of the signatory of the Agreement of establishment of the Euroregion Baltic
The aim of the APCEB: Is work to improve the living conditions of the people living in the area of the Association, with a special focus on border areas.
Association structure: Structure is standard for NGO according to polish law. The authorities of the Association are: The General Assembly of Delegates;Board of The Association; Revision Committee; General Assembly of Members of Association Board of Revision Association Committee Secretariat of Association
Cooperation: • ERB - Euroregion Baltic was established in February 1998 and is an organization based on cooperation, politically strong and well anchored in the south-eastern part of the Baltic Sea Region, consisting of eight regions of Denmark, Lithuania, Polish, Russian and Swedish. • IPS - Since the end of the 2015 we are hosting International Permanent Secretariat is the administrative body of the Euroregion, which is responsible for the daily management and coordination of cooperation within the Euroregion

ERB Actions: • ERB Secretariats online and f2f meetings (Gdańsk -23-24.01.2017); • Preparations for the 20th anniversary of the ERB (Europe for citizens); • Development of cooperation with the use of the South Baltic Programme - Organising joint activities with other BSR organisations such as UBC, BSSSC, CPMR, BDF, CBSS ; • Youth policy in the Youth Council of ERB and design of development LYC SB project into new Bureau and Annual Stakeholder project; Forum ERB • Water issues in the framework of the Watrer Kalmar 6-7 February 2017. Development of Water Task Force by ABCEB • Created a network water oriented organisations, NGO, specialists, municipal employees on water issues; • Gdansk Water and Sanitary Infrastructure (GIWK) as a representative of APCEB in cooperation in the framework of ERB Water Group; • Joint ideas of the water projects
Development of tourism network - Hidden Treasures of Powiśle The result of the work is a rich offer and network presented by actors in the field of crafts, tourism, catering, hotel services, active forms of leisure (based on horse riding, water sports), castle Three groups of subjects: • APCEB • Government and municipal employees of the entities forming a working group Dzierzgońską • Entities from the creative culture of the area Dzierzgon, Malbork, Sztuskie Pole, Mikolajki Pomorskie, Rychliki, Zalewo (10 organisations and still growing)

LYC SB – APCEB as a Lead Partner Seed money project • Realization period of LYC SB: 1.09.2016- 31.01.2017 • Outcome of the current project: a draft of a larger application for the Interreg South Baltic Programme which will be devoted to youth participation and development of civil society in the South Baltic area by building a network of cooperation actors (partners) working to enable young people’s involvement in decision-making processes at a local level.
PARTNER SEARCH Project within the framework of the Interreg V-A Poland – Denmark – Germany – Lithuania – Sweden (South Baltic) Programme 2014-2020 Programme Priority: 5 – Increasing the possibilities cooperation with local actors in the South Baltic area for the growth of blue and green Specific objective: 5 - Improve the ability to work with local actors of the South Baltic area through participation in cross-border networks Currently looking partners in: Denmark – Regional Municipality of Bornholm and Region Zealand (subregions: Østsjælland, Vest- og Sydsjælland); Germany – districts (Landkreise) of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Nordwestmecklenburg, Rostock, Vorpommern- Rügen, Vorpommern -Greifswald and district-free city (kreisfreie Stadt): Rostock; Sweden – Skane lan, Blekinge lan; Kalmar lan, Kronobergs lan.
PARTNER SEARCH The project to be generated under the Interreg South Baltic Programme aims at increasing the impact of youth civic participation. Project objectives: • To contribute to response to new challenges of the 21 st century (such as urban society, information society); • To increase young people’s awareness of all forms of participation in society; • To enable local and regional authorities with guidelines for how to conduct g policies affecting young people in a number of areas; • Implementing tools and improving institutional conditions for furthering young people’s participation.

RUBY – Rural Mobility (Interreg Central Europe) The project is based on the idea of the development of tourist routes with the use of slow tourism - concentration on operations in accordance with the harmony of nature, in the composition of which will include a representatives of partners from countries of Central Europe. Through the project the partners involved agree to take significant steps in the use of tourism intermodal (combining different modes of transport)
SUWMAB (Interreg Baltic Sea Region) Project will promote the use of ecological treatment wetlands (TW) and prove that they are both economic and effective in terms of pollutant removal (organic matter, nutrients and certain persistent organic pollutants (POPs)) from wastewater. • Project is going to fill the knowledge gaps about TW performance both on science level and on the local municipality level • Small-scale TWs (<50 Person Equivalent (PE)) for complete treatment of domestic wastewater, • Middle-scale TWs (<10 000 PE) for polishing stages of municipal wastewater.
INTERREG SOUTH BLTIC PROJECTS - APCEB acting as a Project Partner CTCC - The project aims to improving networking capacity and level of information in both blue and green enterprises in the South Baltic Region through increased and strengthened cooperation with cultural and creative industries. ARK Pomerania - The project focusses on improving the innovation capacity of rural SMEs to increase the part of new products and services based on old Pomeranian domestic breeds. SB MNM - By bringing together new-comer local actors, in cooperation by creating specific cluster focusing centres, which operate non-commercial cinemas, and in particular cinemas that are not multiplexes cinema institutions.
Future projects in development: • Youth civic participation project (project developed under the seed money – LYC SB) - promoting the role of young people in the development of a democratic society, in particular in local and regional public life • Friendly House - the modern green buildings green technology sectors based on vast natural resources, incl. renewables. • Water project possibility - project in the field of groundwater monitoring, Assessment of the dynamics and quality of groundwater
