Memory Wall 11  All those on the review committee agreed that the history of the two schools coming together should be remembered by means of a ‘memory wall’ or other agreed upon construction.  Jim Saraco to work with the local Transition Team and parent council during the 2016 – 2017 school year to identify the way in which the two schools will be remembered, and create it with the support of central board staff, as needed (e.g. archives). 11

  12. Naming Process for New School 12  Board of trustees approved community request to waive that part of the School Names Policy which requires re-naming after September.  Jim Saraco to work with the principals, parent councils and school communities. 12

  13. School Naming – Review and Approval 13  Process for Review & Approval:  The Archbishop of Toronto Diocese will be consulted as to the suitability of the names submitted.  A Report will be written in collaboration with the School Superintendent and Planning, and presented to the Administrative and Corporate Services Committee.  The exterior signage will be in place for September, 2016.  A plaque outlining the significance of the school name is arranged for and displayed in the school.  Jim Saraco will work with the school communities for celebrations in September. 13
