Spanish 7 Slide presentation Name:________________ You will be working in groups of two to create a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation on one of the Spanish-speaking countries. All groups must sign up with Sra. before they begin working on the project. The goal is to discover more about the country of choice and to share interesting information with the rest of the class. All groups will chose different countries. YOU MUST SHARE THE PROJECT WITH SENORA!!!!!!! Requirements: Introduction slide with country name on it and authors of slide Slide 1 show Map of country with major cities, rivers, and mountains Slide 2 The flag, link to national anthem so we can hear a little of it, Slide 3 and capital of the country Slide 4 Describe the typical climate of the country Slide 5 Type of government and current leader of country Important industries, products, imports, exports, and natural Slide 6 resources (choose 2 of these not all of them please) Any important historical data that we might need to understand Slide 7 the country (3 or 4 points) Any famous people like scientists, authors, artists, or actors Slide 8 (have at least 2 and why they are famous) Typical foods eaten, types of restaurants, meal times (have at Slide 9 least 3 items here, you do not have to do all topics) Slide 10 One Fiesta of your country (date, purpose, location in country if the entire country doesn’t celebrate the holiday) Slide 11 What language(s) are spoken Slide 12 What is the monetary unit? How many of this unit are there per dollar? What are the typical souvenirs to purchase? List at least 3 Slide 13 Says “Five Interesting Places to Visit in (your country)” Slide 14 Slides 15-19 What places should be visited (cities, museums, archaeological sites)? Tell us about five of these places and why we should visit them. Each place has its own slide. Slide 20 Good-bye, We hope you liked our presentation When designing your slide show, use templates to make the show look professional. You should also use graphics whenever possible. For fun, try some different slide transitions. Everyone will get an individual effort grade. If you are absent for many days during the work time, you might have to do your own presentation. I understand that you might be absent one day or more if you are sick but try to be present to do the work. You can also work at home if you are able. Bothgroup members need to be present on the day of the presentation in class.

If you are working on a PowerPoint, please save your work after every slide. If you use Google slides, it will save for you. When you are completely done and you do not plan on changing anything, please print out slideshow with SIX SLIDES PER PAGE!!!!!! Print in black and white as well please.
