Using Celox gauze. Adapted from MoD guidelines. This is ideally a two-person technique Operator 2 Operator 1 Open a fresh bandage Apply pressure into Open Celox Gauze the wound through dressing. Now work closely together Remove dressing 1 Insert Celox Gauze, 2 packing wound tightly Apply pressure through 3 bandage for 3 minutes.
Packing gauze � Identify bleeding site. � Pack directly onto source of bleeding maintaining pressure on bleed point . Pack as taught in controlling severe bleeding for first aid courses � don � t wrap.
Safe � Tested to highest category (Class III) European Medical Device, as well as FDA requirements, meets ISO 10993. � No heat produced � Not pro-thrombotic. � Not allergenic, no proteins. � Same chitosan active since 2006.
