Girls gain confidence boost through Sportivate project • Increasing self-esteem and confidence • Engagement in an extra-curricular activity away from school and home life • Opportunity to develop the necessary skills to be able to ride and feel confident around horses while trying out a new activity. 4 of the group are now continuing with weekly sessions at the local stables. 1 student is also making more positive life choices. www.sasp.co.uk www.sasp.co.uk
Year 6 Focus • Projects targeting females 14 - 25 year olds • Projects targeting 19 - 25 year olds males. • Projects targeting inactive young people ages 14 - 25 year olds – • young people doing less than 4 x 30 minutes of activity in a month. • Projects with a strong focus on the exit route, therefore supporting them into long term participation • Projects showing sustainability and plans to ensure young people continue 3, 6, 12 months down the line . • Projects targeting people with disabilities • Projects incorporating the #ThisGirlCan www.sasp.co.uk Campaign www.sasp.co.uk

Exit route - how sustain? Move as many young people from doing <1x30 in the previous 28 days at the point of registration to >1x30 three months after the end of the Sportivate session . Exit route - how sustain? • Have set plans for exit route – need to have spoken with sports club etc … • Named persons and their role • Discounted sports club membership, equipment, subsidised gym membership • Fund 18 weeks of sessions if no appropriate exit route, i.e. sports club, leisure centre. • Coaching bursaries / Volunteering opportunities www.sasp.co.uk www.sasp.co.uk

Funding 50% allocation of funding will be given on, • Completion of the Service Level Agreement • Returning the Project Checklist • Signing up and completing coaching profile on www.sasp.co.uk • Dates added of project to the portal The final 50% allocation of funding will be awarded on, • Completion of online portal and KPIs submitted to SASP • Case Study Form completed and returned If the agreed targets are not achieved, the final payment will be worked out against the cost per head of young people retained in alignment with your original target. *Unless agreed by SASP before the project* www.sasp.co.uk www.sasp.co.uk
