How can we improve our unity in the Church? ● Promote community oriented fellowship where communities can interact with each other. ● Allow better collaboration between communities for various church events. ● All core team members should also require to be members of other ministries and also motivate their community and Youth members to join the ministry of the ushers ● Every group core team should have tenure period so that they can train others and give opportunities to new faces.

“NOVEM JERUZALEM” ● NOVEM JERUZALEM KONKANI CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP was formed on 14th August 1992 where a few brothers and sisters came forward as a small family to magnify and glorify our mighty king. Today we have around 600-700 Konkani speaking faithful from Goa, Mangalore and Maharashtra.

OUR MISSION : Evangelization OUR VISION : Bringing the lost sheep of Jesus in his vineyard by preaching the good news … Strengthening and renewing the experience of each and every member with God. OUR OBJECTIVE : To reach out, help the needy spiritually and build a community of Love, Faith, Peace, Unity and Harmony.

REGULAR ACTIVITIES: EVERY 1ST AND 2ND FRIDAY OF THE MONTH We have the Divine Mercy Rosary, Praise and Worship followed by Word of God at 2:00 pm in the Main Hall. EVERY 3RD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH We have the Eucharistic Celebration in the Main Hall at 2:00 pm

REGULAR ACTIVITIES: EVERY 4TH FRIDAY OF THE MONTH We have the Holy Eucharistic Adoration in the Main Hall at 2:00 pm THE INTERCESSORY GROUP Meets every Tuesday at 8:00 pm above the Main Hall in room No. 6 where 30 to 40 parishioners come together and intercede for the needs of those gathered and the World.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS YEAR: • NIGHT VIGIL was held on 01st June 2017. • Annual fellowship day was celebrated on 18 th August 2017 commemorating 25 years of standing strong as one Prayer Group.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS YEAR • LOGO OF NOVEM JERUZALEM was changed on the occasion of 25 years of the prayer group. • HYMN BOOK was published and was inaugurated by our Parish Priest Fr. Lennie Connully .

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS YEAR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION – was held on 8 th December 2017. THE MEDITATION ON THE THREE NAILS OF CHRIST’S CROSS - was held during the lent on 9th March 2018 .

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES ● The group has tried to be generous towards the needs of our brothers and sisters, maybe monetary help or otherwise … ● Through the generous contributions, we were able to sponsor for the education of one Priest this year. This generous activity was started in the year 2002. The money goes alternatively to seminaries in Goa / Mangalore or Mumbai. ● Our team of hospital ministry visits the sick as and when in need.

ADMINISTRATION: NOVEM JERUZALEM consists of a core team of 7 members, Spiritual Director (Priest from the parish) the tenure for core team member is 2 years. 18 Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

MINISTRIES: WE HAVE 7 MINISTRIES TAKING CARE OF THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES OF THE GROUP: • Word of God Ministry • Praise and Worship Ministry • Intercessory Ministry (SMS/Chain Prayer/Hospital visit) • Welcome (meet & greet) Ministry • Service Ministry • Music Ministry • Dramatic Ministry
