CTE to create strategic plan which aims to increase quality of options expand to for future. CTE in order to help the economy. 6 program areas. 1980-1990’s Late 1990’s 2007-08 “A Nation at Risk” (1983) RHS Magnet 16 Clusters Programs Launch RISD removes vo-tech facilities Gov’t re-organizes CTE and replaces with computer labs. RHS facility-based into 16 federal clusters. CTE programs: Texas and RISD re-align Culinary Arts, to 16 clusters. New CTE Health, Robotics, facilities open in RISD. Welding.
