Request for Proposals PRIDCO seeks qualified firms with experience in microgrids, energy generation and distribution, interested in planning, designing, constructing, financing and operating microgrid solutions for the following industrial sites: • Aguadilla Industrial Site: RFP FY2018-2019 – 001 • Añasco Industrial Site: RFP FY2018-2019 – 002 • Jayuya Industrial Site: RFP FY2018-2019 – 003 • Juana Díaz Industrial Site: RFP FY2018-2019 – 004 - Canceled • Santa Isabel Industrial Site : RFP FY2018-2019 – 005

Request for Proposals • Request for Proposal (RFP) Process will consist of two phases. • First phase: • Conceptual design • Operational model (Hybrid system design) including: (i) Layout drawing; (ii) Electric schematic including one- line diagram; (iii) Company qualifications; (iv) Financing options. (v) Respondent shall describe the overall concept and vision for the Project, including how the Project will comply with the RFP requirements. • Short-listed proponents will be selected. • Second phase: • The short-listed proponents will be provided additional information about the site and will be required to participate in a site visit and walk-through meeting. • Short-listed proponents will submit a full design proposal that will be evaluated to determine the Selected Proponent.

  8. Request for Proposals • The microgrid shall be capable of supporting indefinite “island - mode” operation, meeting base load energy demand at all points of the year. • The systems solution shall combine: • Renewable sources • Storage systems/technology • Backup generation source. • Proponents shall provide two solutions: • Solution No. 1, connection with the proposed generation mix shall comply with Regulation on Microgrid Development Num. 9028, of May 18, 2018 • Solution No. 2 proposed generation mix not limited by the Microgrid Regulation, using the best and most efficient scenario with renewables in the combination. The system shall include a minimum of 15% of renewable sources.

  9. Request for Proposals • Respondent shall submit a Schedule of Rates and Charges in the Proposal. Respondents shall set rates and charges sufficient to provide for the payment of its operation, maintenance, emergency repair reserves, and debts service. • For Solution No. 1, a shorter agreement term and lower fixed kw/hr rate, will be awarded additional points. • For Solution No. 2, the rate per kw/hr shall not exceed $0.16. Proposals with rates lower than this cap will be awarded additional points. • The Proponent must provide different financing options available to fund the proposed microgrid project.

Catheter used to monitor oxygenation, blood pressure 900 L I F E S C I E N C E S and temperature for people in critical care of the hospitals. i.e. after an open-heart surgery. Manufactures intraocular contact lenses cataracts and myopia correction. This J & J V I S I O N C A R E 700 division of J&J is the largest supplier in USA and in the world of “Lasik” (AMO MANUFACTURING) surgery and the intra-ocular contact lenses is the consumable. Critical supplier of J&J in collagen products , including a wound healing wrap 600 I N T E G R A used after surgeries and accidental wounds. Also, they provide different devices for the treatment of hydrocephaly. G E N E R A L E L E C T R I C 300 In the Añasco facility, they manufacture, power line monitoring systems. ( G E ) Critical supplier to Edwards, they provide temperature sensors that are installed in the Swann-Ganz catheter that Edwards manufactures . Also, they supply the 200 A M P H E N O L automotive and heavy equipment (Caterpillar) with the pressure sensors and differential pressure sensors that are used in the engines of the equipment.
