The strong climatic variations during transportation favor the rapid formation of condensation , which can spoil the product , causing economic and image damage . Introducing Desert GEL: innovative anti-humidity solution To counteract the rapid formation of the condensation, we have developed Desert GEL , the new product that allows fast absorption of moisture, preventing its build-up and its damaging effects. Product innovation is characterized by the reduced dimensions/weight and the excellent moisture insulation from the shipping material. 3
Desert GEL typical uses During transportation , the goods and packaging are exposed to moisture present in the container: • The cardboard boxes with moisture will soften losing their physical and mechanical characteristics, increasing the propensity to deformation and the risk of breakage during handling. • The labels , especially those on glass surfaces (i.e. bottles), with the humidity, tend to detach, get moldy and fade making the presentation of the product undesirable to the customer (see restaurants). • Paper products tend to absorb moisture and getting curled (see paper). These are just some of the cases in which it is recommended the use of Desert GEL. 4

Desert Gel vs 1kg bag Desert GEL 125g bag is roughly equivalent in humidity absorption to a 1Kg traditional container bag, giving following advantages : • Reduction of transportation costs ; • Ease in the arrangement inside the container: desert Gel bags could be configured in stripes; • Less pollution is generated during transportation. Desert GEL can be set up as: • individual bags • individual bags or stripes , with an hook or a string to hang them or with double-sided adhesive tape to "stick them" on pallets or other surfaces • stripes of more bags (from 2 up to 14 bags), to be positioned on the anchor hooks on the walls of the container thanks to an hook or a nonwoven string sewn on one or on both sides (as for the 14 bags stripe - see pictures) 7
