Business Continuity Planning ▪ The goal of continuity planning is to minimize the impact of an event on your business and allow you to get back to work faster. ▪ A framework to support businesses continuing and/or rapidly restoring their critical business functions in the event of a disruption to normal operations. ▪ Critical business functions are those functions and critical activities that are the backbone of a business and must be continued in order for the organization to meet its mission.

How Can DPSCEM Help?

Business Emergency Operations Center ▪ Create a Business Emergency Operations Center (BEOC) to facilitate communication and coordination with the private sector when the Arlington County Emergency Operations Center is activated. ▪ An in person or virtual environment for information sharing. A space to communicate resource request to business networks and facilitate deployment of available resources and capabilities that can address community needs.
