Community is raising the balance of funds required. Schedule: The community plans on starting on or around August 21, with a completion date of November 13, 2006. Pahoa Park Master Plan: $50,000 appropriated. 4

Pohoiki Road Realignment Scope: 0.5 mile bypass. Status: EA complete, design 90% complete. Construction NTP estimated October 2006. Appropriation: $2M 8

Kalapana Road Realignment Scope: Realignment of two sections (approx. 1000’ l.f. each) further inland. Status: EA and design complete. Estimated construction start August 2006. Contract: $1,522,000 9

PEAR– Ainaloa Blvd Scope: Improve sight distance at two locations, install pedestrian sidewalks along portions of the road, install street lights at selected intersections Status: Design and survey complete. Construction NTP estimated January 2007. Appropriation: $1.5M 10
