Educational objectives of the project-seminar • EU and its institutions � a model • Actually discussed theme: EU-Turkey � discuss, understand, … • Example for an active and alternative teaching form � important: model !!! • Scientifical work, arguing, giving oral presentations taking the view of a given character • Analyse if a seminar like this is a suitable way of presenting and mediating a complexe context like the EU to a class • Excursion to Bruxelles and the European Institutions as part of the semester-programme about EU-enlargement at the institute More than playing… • It‘s more than just „playing“ a conference game - the students aquired the game e.i. their knowledge and their character‘s view during the course by listening to and giving the oral presentations � Contributions during the course (work papers & oral presentations) = preparation of the given character‘s view
