ABOUT THE COMPANY Casting and Mechanical Plant SKAD - is the high technology producer of light alloy wheels for auto cars. The history of success of the plant takes beginning in 2004 there first wheel was casted. Since then company has passed through a lot of quality and progressive changes which are connected with rapid growth and development. The Plant SKAD has full technological cycle of production of light alloy wheels from supernatant liquid to painting, packing and shipping of finished products.

TECHNOLOGY Technology The production technology of light alloy wheels includes next steps: • Engineering • Developing of mold • Casting • Machining treatment • Painting Such algorithm of processes is traditional for producing wheels by lowpressure casting but in our plant each step is progressed for new top results. SKAD develops innovative method of producing of light wheels and places its products in international level.
TECHNOLOGY-ENGINEERING Producing of new wheel begins from engineering. On this step we use the list of programs for 3D modeling and analyze of construction. It allows: • Create unique design • Make tests of construction by extreme stress tests • Get ideal rate of mass and resistance
TECHNOLOGY-TOOLING Since SKAD is a full cycle production, our molds are also engineered and produced locally. Before production, each mold is being developed as a model. 3D modeling of mold allows: • Exclude all potential defects of casting • Achieve the most clearly and significant design of wheel
TECHNOLOGY-CASTING The next technological step begins after the mold has been produced. On the first stage a unique alloy is formed which is differentiated from analogous wheels by resistance, hardness and lightness. Only that alloy gives to wheel the leading characteristics. Composition of our alloy is under control and under reconciling with accuracy to per mille.
TECHNOLOGY-CASTING Ready alloy gets into the holding furnace of the casting machine and fills the mold with liquid aluminum under low pressure. The whole process is fully automated. Casting machine control module provides accurate crystallization of the cast!
TECHNOLOGY-QUALITY CONTROL After casting the formed wheel passes X-rays control. Equipment allows to define automatically the quality of each wheel.
TECHNOLOGY-HEAT TREATMENT Modern EISENMANN heat treatment line performs an automated heat treatment process of 13- 22” wheels
TECHNOLOGY-MACHINING At the stage of machining the wheel get their applicability parameters - LZ, PCD, ET, DIA. Machining facility is automatically and robotized. Accuracy of such treatment assumes ideal balance and absence of wheel run-out.
TECHNOLOGY-PAINTING The next step is painting. Our plant is equipped with the innovative robotized paining line produced by EISENMANN . High-accuracy and technologically procedure of painting guaranties perfect coating and gives solid and fast color with unique imaging characteristics. We use only the best coating components from the world leading producers. Such composition of factors makes our wheels’ surface the best on Russian market.
DESIGN At our plant any wheel is designed by a group of designers. SKAD wheels have superb and minimalistic design. The model line of SKAD consists of classic designs together with progressive models. Internal design development allows us to have a full production, from a 3D model to a final unique project.
QUALITY Safety on a road depends on quality of your car’s components. Since the wheels are one of the main components, SKAD produces its wheels with understanding of full responsibility for your safety and we are ready to guarantee it with a proper certification.
QUALITY • Each SKAD wheel has an individual certificate. • Each certificate confirms that each wheel has passed stress tests and it is safe to use.
QUALITY Our company is certified in accordance with international standards of quality ISO : • ISO 9001:2008 - standard is directed for results of QMS in carrying out consumer’s requirements • ISO 14001:2004 - strict international ecological standard • ISO 16949:2009 - QMS standards for plants in automobile industry
QUALITY Specific models of SKAD wheels have passed independent certification tests of TUV SUD Automotive GmbH for KBA ABE approval which allows to use SKAD wheels in the countries of Western Europe and USA.
QUALITY Each wheel passes following quality tests: • Chemical and spectral alloy analysis • X -ray control for recognition of hidden defects • Recognition of mechanical conditions level (testing for bend under torsion, testing wheel run-out and unbalance, swing test, 13-30-90 degrees impact test) • Leakage test • Control of geometry parameters • Testing for anticorrosion quality of wheels coating • Analyze of micro and macro structure

COOPERATION WITH ASSEMBLY PLANTS During the last 10 years SKAD performs regular supplies of alloy wheels to the car assembly plants of following well-known car producers:
Q1 In 2008 SKAD has become a priority supplier of wheels for Ford Motor Company. This status is confirmed by Q1 certificate.

ECOLOGY In terms of ecology it stands to mention that SKAD cares about environment and uses only high quality ecological materials. SKAD has modern systems of effluents and air filtration. Their effectiveness is controlled by own ecological laboratory. Hard industrial wastes are entitled to second involvement. So our production doesn’t generate any scrubs for direct utilization which excludes any harm for environment.
