POS POSTER PR PRESENTATION ON G GUIDE DELINES On behalf of ARMS and both the Organising and Program Committees for the 2018 Conference, I would like to thank you for being involved as a poster presenter at the Conference. To ensure your presentation runs smoothly, please read the following guidelines carefully. GEN ENER ERAL GU GUIDELINE NES • When arriving at the conference please see the staff at the registration desk located on the Mezzanine Level of the Hotel Grand Chancellor. • Poster boards will be located in the Exhibition Hall, located in the Federation Ballroom on the Mezzanine Level of the Hotel Grand Chancellor (venue map referenced below). • Poster boards will be numbered and each poster presentation has been assigned to a poster board number. • Please ensure that your poster is displayed on the correct poster board. Do not place your poster in an alternate location. Posters will be displayed in themes identified by the Program Committee. • Posters will be displayed daily, and presenters are encouraged to stand by their posters during refreshment breaks and liaise with delegates browsing the poster area. • All presenters are expected to be at their posters during the allocated poster session time on either Wednesday 19 th or Thursday 20 th September. This will allow you the opportunity to talk with delegates about your poster and answer questions regarding your work. • Poster judges will attend both poster presentation sessions and winners will be announced at the conference dinner. • Please bring your own materials to attach your poster to the poster board, double sided tape etc. POSTER TER GU GUIDELINE NES • The poster should be a visual presentation of your submitted abstract and the title must be the same as in the submitted abstract. • The poster must be A0 A0 s size ze (A0 size is 841mm x 1189mm) in port rtra rait o ori rient ntation. n. • The poster should be easily readable at a distance of two metres. Use UPPER and lower case for general content, as the use of all-capital text is difficult to read. Avoid using a mixture of type/font styles. • Include the title of your presentation at the top of the poster. Authors and affiliations should also be displayed on the poster. • HEADINGS: 48 to 60 font size is recommended. • CONTENT: 28 to 36 font size single spaced is recommended. The text should be concise and easy to read. POSTER TER S SET ET-UP UP/REM REMOVA VAL TI TIMES ES • Set et-up of of p pos osters : The Conference Welcome Reception will be held in the Exhibition Hall, offering presenters the opportunity for increased exposure to your poster. We highly recommend you set-up your poster on Tuesday 18 th September from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Posters must be setup by 4:00pm for the Welcome Reception. If you are unable to attend the Welcome Reception, you may access the exhibition hall to set-up your poster Wednesday 19 th September from 8:00am. • ers: Friday 21 st September.
