Ms. Bueno de Leon spent her time this summer organizing volunteers and coordinating the Mobile Food Truck’s monthly visits for the upcoming year. The Mobile Food Pantry is a great resource to our families and we appreciate Ms. Bueno de Leon’s help in making these visits happen!

  2. #PeekskillPride The Peekskill City School District would like to recognize Ms. Orfa Fuentes for her help in the Registration Department . The beginning of the school-year is a busy time for Registration and Ms. Fuentes helped keep the department moving smoothly!

  3. #PeekskillPride Congratulations to Peekskill High School Assistant Principal Dr. Jenna Ferris, who was recently honored at the Hudson Valley Youth Bureau Breakfast in White Plains. Dr. Ferris is a Youth Bureau Board member and was nominated for the award by Peekskill Youth Bureau Executive Director Mrs. Tuesday McDonald. Mrs. MacDonald was joined by Dr. Mauricio, PHS Principal Mr. Rodney Arthur and others to present the award to Dr. Ferris at the event. The award recognized Dr. Ferris as a “champion of positive youth development.” PHS student Justin Smithson sang the National Anthem for the occasion.

  4. #PeekskillPride Our Dads Take Your Child to School Week is off to a great start! Thank you to our high school, middle school and Uriah Hill families that have participated so far. We look forward to seeing many more adults accompanying their students to school as the week-long celebration continues!

Walk Like MADD The Peekskill City School District and the Peekskill PTO have once again partnered to form a PCSD team for the Walk Like MADD event taking place at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights on October 19 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Join our team and walk with the PTO, Superintendent Dr. Mauricio and others! Special thanks to PCSD teacher’s aide Mrs. Maria Leff for leading this effort for MADD.

  7. Saturday Academy Join us for the first Saturday Academy of the 2019-2020 school year! We will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The Peekskill PTO will have a mobile STEAM museum! September 28, 2019 10AM-1AM at Peekskill Middle School

  8. PCSD Capital Project Referendum Town Hall: September 24 at 7 p.m. at Peekskill High School Vote: October 7 from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Peekskill High School
