PAWZ PAWZ Manfred Kaser Compaq Computer GmbH PM/CP/PAWZ - 1 PM/CP/PAWZ - 2 PAWZ Architecture PAWZ Architecture Overview Overview SQL Database PAWZ is a P erformance A nalysis W eb Z one software which allows one to analyze performance data from multiple systems PAWZ Station and platform (OpenVMS, Digital Unix, NT) from a single NT PAWZ station. Console It allows one to define platform specific performance characterization policies. Up load these policies to each Node to be monitored. During the day each node is running CP/Collector and storing performance information on to a file. Every day at a pre-specified time (default mid-night) data PAWZ collected by CP/Collector is processed at each node according to the Agent OpenVMS OpenVMS Unix Unix NT workload characterization policy for the node. The characterized workload is then downloaded to the PAWZ station and stored into MS-SQL database. CP/Data Collector CP/Data Collector CP/Data Collector CP/Data Collector CP/Data Collector Performance data stored in the database can now be viewed on the PAWZ station or from any of the node using web browser technology.
