Parkside Community Primary School, Heathfield Richard Blakeley
Background Joined the school in September 2012. Ofsted Judgement of the school was Satisfactory. Inspected again July 2013. Ofsted Judgement of the school was Good.
September 2017 Reviewed the school’s data over the last three years. Considered our 'progress over time.‘ Agreed that we could be considering the judgement of Outstanding. Met with School Improvement Advisor in October and tried to convince her.
SEF and SDP We combined both our SEF and SDP and we created two of them. 1) One which our SIP said was 'fit for purpose' with the judgements of good. 2) One which we believed to be ‘fit for purpose’ with judgements of outstanding, which we shared with the inspector.

Confidence "What makes your school outstanding?" "So when we look around the school what will we see?" "Why do you think your safeguarding is outstanding?" "What makes your communication with parents outstanding?"
Together The things that we do at Parkside work for us. They work for us because we continually invest in the craft of developing our particular learners.
