Our Commitment to You WEST LEXHAM

We are currently looking hopeful to be able to open at the beginning of July. We know we will have to make changes to make West Lexham safe for our team and our guests, and to adhere to government guidelines. Other than that, we will stay as true and close to West Lexham’s experience and values that we know and love - celebrating our sustainability, wonderful countryside and beautiful wildlife. We are very lucky that our retreat is set within 21 acres of Norfolk countryside, meaning we can adhere to government social distancing with a little help from you. All of our properties have individual access and are well spaced and as transmission is significantly reduced in outdoor environments we think that we will have little difficulty in complying with any sensible distancing measures that could be in place. Our holiday cottages and some tree houses have their own bathrooms, and every property here has the ability for you to cook in your own space.

We have put the the following measures in place throughout the West Lexham Estate Check In - We will send you a map to your property prior to your arrival, and give you a call to talk through the procedures and your check in. We will work with our guests with staggered arrival and departure times to make sure they don’t get too busy. Social Distancing - Please stay at least 2 metres apart from other guests and staff and respect other guests space Exceptional Cleanliness - You will notice increased cleaning throughout your stay with attention to key touch points. We will be using hospital grade cleaning products that decompose into harmless by products safe for ourselves and our environment Hygiene stations with hand Sanitisers are available throughout the site and all guest areas We actively remind all colleagues and guests to continually practice safe hygiene measures. For extra safety, any colleagues working in the accommodation or working in close proximity to one another and our guests must wear personal protective equipment All staff are being temperature checked at the beginning of each shift and this is available for all guests as required Prior to your arrival your accommodation would have been deep cleaned. Our cleaning team changes their gloves after changing sheets and between changing properties. Our team is receiving ongoing training and regular updates regarding best practice to ensure your safety as well as that of our staff in line with government guidelines and the World Health Organisation.

Due to the recent government announcement our swimming pool remains closed. As soon as we are given the green light from the government we will reopen in line with the guidelines given. We do have the wild swimming lake which is open for you to enjoy. The outdoor kitchen will be open. We will be cleaning this regularly throughout the day with added measures in place to ensure the safety of our guests.

BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE We do understand that you want to book your 2020 stay with confidence. In the unlikely event that your holiday can’t go ahead due to COVID travel restrictions, rest assured you will be able to re-arrange for any other time subject to availability, or we will refund your stay. This is subject to a few obvious conditions such as booking into an equivalent period and having insurance in place to cover you for non-covid issues.
