My beginnings were really simple, after receiving my BA in Design from London 1997, I believed that I have a responsibility, one that is bigger than being a designer or an artist. I realised that many TH THE BEGININGS problems in the world are


  1. My beginnings were really simple, after receiving my BA in Design from London 1997, I believed that I have a responsibility, one that is bigger than being a designer or an artist. I realised that many TH THE BEGININGS problems in the world are caused by ignorance. It all started at the residence of the Ambassador of KSA when I co-organised with HRH Organising Events Princess Seeta Bader Al Saud an art and craft event benefitting 2 charities by buying hand crafted goods from Al Nahdha society from poor and disabled Saudi women and the sales went towards a British charity benefiting victims of wars in warzones.

  2. Since 1999, I have been curating exhibitions promoting Arab/Islamic art globally focusing on contemporary Saudi Art. Exhibitions took THE BEGININGS places in Doulun museum in Shanghai, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and Brunei Gallery in SOAS University. Curating After receiving my MA from Central Saint Martins 2000, I curated a calligraphy exhibition in 2001 at the October gallery in London celebrating the art of calligraphy from around the Middle East.

  3. From 2002-2004 I started working at Saudi Research and Marketing Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture and contributed to the cultural page by writing articles Writing articles for Asharq Al Awsat about the Middle Eastern art scene in London.

  4. From 2005-2008 worked with a British based company producing Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture films and documentaries for Saudi broadcasting channels. Art directing During this time I worked on anti-terrorism campaigns and as a creative director for cultural campaigns.

Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture 2007, I was one of 4 Middle Eastern artists collaborating with the British Museum to introduce Arabic/Islamic art to GCC students Collaboration with The in London for 6 weeks as part of their art curriculum. British Museum 2007 The outcome of the project was exhibited at the British museum.

  6. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture 2008, Co-Curated the first extensive contemporary Saudi art exhibition at Brunei Gallery at SOAS university Curating

  7. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture Since 2008, I continued curating in East West and in 2015 I started Promoting British artists promoting tow British artists, In Saudi Arabia and UAE, in the Gulf region Tom Berry and Chris Wood.

  8. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture 2018, Curated the art exhibition at London Arabia Art & Fashion Fashion, promoting Arab culture in UK. Curating

  9. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture 2018, represented Saudi Arabia as an artist at the London Design Biennial London Design Biennial

  10. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture 2019 Exhibition From Hermitage Th The H ermitage Museum

  11. Co Contributing t g to Cu Culture Collection by the British Museum Work Acquired by British Museum 2019, My work was collected by The British Museum of my limited edition portfolio of 50 artworks.

  12. Sp Special Proje jects I was invited to collaborate with BMW, launching their latest model. The reason why I accepted to collaborate is because it was about art BMW Advert and culture

  13. Sp Special Proje jects Another collaboration was with google, promoting the art of Arabic calligraphy creating 3D Ramadan and Eid E-Cards Google

  14. The methodology is not just the material cultures but through the implementation of actual dialogue including workshops, talks and education programs in schools and universities. Although it is my belief that the best institutions to harness these conversations and dialogue are institutions of heritage within the cultural field.
