Equitable Services – Key Points Equitable Participation Consultation must be TIMELY, MEANINGFUL and is REQUIRED
Equitable Services – Key Points *REQUIRED: Local Education Agency to be responsible for provision. Districts may add a continuing grant to the already required nonpublic consultation.
Equitable Services – Key Points The CBO partner may handle the contact but if the provision is not implemented correctly, the district partner is responsible. The district knows with whom they are required to consult during nonpublic consultation.

21 st CCLC – Performance Measures Reading/Math ü 100 percent of programs provide AT LEAST two hours of enrichment (per approved application) ü Documentation includes lesson plan, curriculum description
21 st CCLC – Performance Measures Family Engagement ü 100 percent of programs provide AT LEAST three evidence-based educational development opportunities: o Family literacy classes, family/school/community activities ü Documentation includes flyers, sign-in sheets, program schedule/calendar
Program Management Program Manager to meet at least monthly with district and building level teams (BLT or DLT) ü Collaboration/integration should be in alignment with the school day ü Documentation includes meeting agenda and minutes
Program Management Licensing Documentation – under First Year Implementation Phase survey ONLY ü Elementary/Middle Schools – SACC or Ohio Department of Education License Number ü High School – No Licensing Required ü Youth Development Exemption – As Needed
Staffing and Professional Development Certified Teacher – Overseer of Academic Content ü Must review and approve lesson plans (daily/weekly) ü Documentation is CRITICAL and includes actual lesson plans
Staffing and Professional Development Personnel Evaluation Process ü Must align with 21 st CCLC Performance Measures ü Documentation includes: Individual professional development plan
Programming Evidence of Student Choice/Youth Voice in programmatic planning implementation ü Documentation includes: Student advisory board meeting agenda and minutes ü Suggestion: Be creative in student involvement (Examples may include assigning leadership roles and incentivizing participation)
Monitoring Reminders ü Performance measures should be the basis of EVERYTHING created. ü Daily/weekly schedules are to be posted in programming space and within the school/site building.
