Conclusions • T he demand for groundwater in these water sources is not great due to low yield and poor water quality. • The water from these groundwater sources is not used for productive use except in a few isolated areas in the GAB Surat Shallow. • Groundwater trading is almost non existent. • Observation of water levels shows that no significant decline in water levels across the WSP area. • Groundwater extractions will not exceed extraction limits of the respective four groundwater sources.
