Program Name and Philosophy: The San Carlos Apache Tribe Tribe’s TANF Program transitioned into a name change to Nnee Bich’o Nii , which translates to “Helping our Apache People,” reflects the traditional Apache philosophy leading to sustainable financial and personal independence.
Mission Statement: ▪ “The San Carlos Apache Tribe’s Nnee Bich’o Nii Program will provide eligible individuals the opportunity to become economically independent through employment opportunities. We will remove barriers by providing eligibility, case management, and employment- related with support services.”
