Mughal Wikipedia Project smithsonian libraries editing Wikipedia articles about india’s mughal dynasty A project team of three summer interns is mining the Freer|Sackler Library’s print resources and then using discovered information to contribute content and citations to existing Wikipedia entries on Mughal art, architecture, history and culture. Collaborating with more experienced Smithsonian Wikipedians, Freer|Sackler curatorial stafg and members of the local Wikimedia DC group, the team hopes to improve content on existing entries and move towards the creation of new pages for unexplored Mughal related topics.
