What is the point of Mocks!!! This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY
• Mocks are an opportunity to show yourself and your teacher what you have learnt, and where the gaps in your learning are. • It is also a useful exercise for you to see how the real exams will operate in the summer, and so you can see it is not a scary as you might have imagined. • The results you get in your mocks help your teacher to decide what level of entry you should be put in for in the summer i.e Higher or Foundation. • Last summer they also were used in conjunction with classwork and class assessments, to award Centre Assessed Grades for students.
