  18. On the 28 th of September, 2018, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Palu, Central Sulawesi. Casualties: Lives = 2,073 • Missing = 680 • Homes = 65,000 •

  19. Relief Operations at Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia MCKS Charitable Foundation donated to PH INDONESIA to aid earthquake victims with a total of USD 30,000 for personal hygiene products, food and beverages, and the needs of mothers and babies.

  22. JAIL DECONGESTION PROGRAM It is the flagship program of HLAF which is also supported by our other programs. HLAF scours the jails and courts for inmates eligible for release. It also aims to change the puntitive attitudes of the community and also key duty bearers to empower their mandates.

JAIL DECONGESTION PROGRAM Conducted 166 jail visits in Metro Manila & Bicol. • 1283 case follow-ups; 847 were done by volunteer students and 134 • inmates were released. 159 cases were resolved from the follow-ups. • Conducted medical missions with the help of MCKS Caring Heart. • Provided numerous trainings to BJMP Jail Officers • Helped the court in Pasig to organize Task Force Katarungan which is a • group of duty bearers who discusses reasons why inmates stay longer in jail.

  24. Center for Restorative Action It is the training arm on restorative justice which is accredited by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission. By training these professionals, we hope to lessen persons who are incarcerated esp. children.
