A little about AFA Insurance • Insures employees through collective agreement or through company signed insurance • Is owned by The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv), The Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) and PTK-the council for negotiation and cooperation • Does not seek to generate a profit, no dividends are paid to the shareholders • Has a commission to prevent occupational injuries and promote health and safety • 150 million SEK to research • Analysis and statistics – Unique database with 13 million claims • Offer the IA-system free of charge for insured companies
Quick facts about IA • IA is a web-based system that supports the systematic improvement of the working environment Developed by AFA Insurance in collaboration with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO), the Council for Negotiation and Co-operation (PTK) and the sectors.
