Milk Production  2013/ 2014 Target is based on 1150 Friesian and Friesian cross bred cows which are specifically bred to AA2  Target per cow is 470kgms  Feed systems Feed types: Grass, grass silage, maize silage, palm kernel and Avon Feed Feed S ystems: In-S hed computerized feeding systems and Feed Pad systems

Effluent / Pasture Management  The effluent system is a two pond storage system with no release into natural waterways.  Water diversion prevents stormwater from being added to the ponds.  A flood wash system is used to remove effluent from the main yard.  All effluent is recycled via smart hydrant irrigators. 136 hectares of the farm is covered by irrigators.  Paddock soil testing is done every 2 years, grass is boosted with gibberellic acid at strategic times and regressing with a turnip and chickory rotation on 6% of the farm.
