Grandfather Provision  License will be issued to an applicant who does not meet educational requirements and who was recognized by the board to practice as an APRN in Minnesota on July 1, 2014 OR  Applicant may be eligible if currently appropriately certified and in compliance with the educational requirements in effect in Minnesota at the time of graduation

CRNA Practice of Pain Management  Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist may perform non-surgical pain management of acute and chronic pain symptoms  Upon referral and in collaboration with a licensed Minnesota physician. The CRNA must perform the therapies at the same licensed health care facility as the physician.  For the purposes of performing non-surgical therapies for chronic pain symptoms with a written prescribing agreement with a licensed Minnesota physician.
