Croke Park Community Fund Fund is to support projects of benefit to a wide range of people in communities primarily within 1.5 Kilometres of Croke Park. 80% of the participants/beneficiaries must be usually resident within this catchment area. Applications are only accepted from bona fide community/ resident/ voluntary or not for profit organisations that are based within the stadium’s 1.5km catchment area No project will be given 100% funding

  5. Croke Park Community Fund The intention is to support the widest number of suitable projects within the community area. The fund is intended to create new community facilities but also to support services and community activities.   6. Community Gain Grants Scheme A Community Gain Fund has been established in accordance with statutory approvals obtained for the Waste to Energy project. The fund will be administered by the Community Gain Liaison Committee The aim of the fund is to provide financial assistance to community based clubs/groups, voluntary organisations, schools/colleges and businesses for the development of community, educational, recreational, environmental and local heritage projects and works which will benefit the neighboring communities of Irishtown, Ringsend and Sandymount.

  7. Community Gain Grants Scheme More than € 10 million has been allocated to date, with an additional annual contribution of € 600,000 based on the annual throughput of waste in future years.   8. Dublin Bus Community Spirit Awards The Community Spirit Awards help to support the development of new projects, grow services and help raise community spirit in the local community. To apply, entrants must complete an application form, which includes a proposal with details about their organisation and the project which they wish to have funded. Each application is judged independently and successful groups will be awarded grants of € 5,000, € 2,000 or € 1,000.

HSE National Lottery Grants The HSE has been allocated National Lottery Funding for distribution to community based groups and voluntary organisations under the Respite Care Grant Scheme and the National Lottery Grant Scheme. Groups and organisations involved in the provision of Health and Personal Social Services can apply for once off funding of between € 500 and € 10,000 for suitable projects. Applications must be for once off projects that can be completed within the year of application

  12. Communities Integration Fund The Communities Integration Fund will fund actions by community organisations to promote integration in their local communities. A total amount of € 500,000 will be made available to local community based groups to promote integration in their area e.g. local sporting clubs, faith-based groups, theatrical and cultural organisations. Grants/funding may be provided up to a maximum of € 5,000 depending on the size and nature of the project. 12

North East Inner City – Community Grant Sceme 2017 Once off funding of 100,000 from the Department of Rural and Community Development The Scheme is intended to fund projects / proposals to take place in the immediate to short term i.e. by end 2017 or early 2018. This fund is open to established groups and organisations working in a community based capacity in the NEIC and must be able to demonstrate a capability to deliver measurable benefits to the local communities in the defined North East Inner City area 14

  15. North East Inner City – Community Grant Sceme 2017 Priority will be given to applications that clearly demonstrate a link to achievement of actions and recommendations contained in the Mulvey Report “Dublin North East Inner City – Creating a brighter future.” particularly in promotion of themes of local participation, integration and education. Grants may be awarded for a broad range of proposals e.g. for one-off community projects, environmental improvements, community social events and festivals, provision of equipment etc. The application process closes Wednesday 1 st November 2017 (4pm) 15

  16. Dublin City Community Facilities Scheme The Dublin City Community Facilities Scheme provides small-scale capital grants to community and voluntary groups or organisations. The scheme in Dublin City is administered by the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and Dublin City Council. Following an application process in 2017, almost 70 groups were awarded funding for capital projects. Details of how to apply for funding under the Community Facilities Scheme for 2018 will be available in due course at www.dublincity.ie/lcdc

  17. St. Patrick’s Cathedral Community Grants Scheme The Cathedral operates a grant scheme to support charities, voluntary and community groups in realising their projects. Each year monies from offertories, collections and other donations are distributed to charitable groups working to address areas of need in our communities.   19. St. Stephen’s Green Trust St Stephen's Green Trust is a grant giving charitable organisation which operates a range of grant programmes on the island of Ireland. The grant programmes seek to effect social change in a range of areas which have been identified as both critical and hard to fund The Trust provides small-scale strategic funding and other supports to organisations trying to respond to these areas of critical need.   20. Community Based CCTV The community based CCTV scheme is intended to support local communities who wish to install and maintain CCTV security systems in their area, with the aim of increasing public safety and to deter illegal or anti-social behaviour. It is intended that the Scheme will run for 3 years with funding of € 1 million being made available each year (Started 2017) It is designed to provide financial assistance to qualifying local organisations towards meeting the capital costs associated with the establishment of local community CCTV systems.

  21. Community Based CCTV The maximum grant available is € 40,000. Within this limit, grants of up to 60% of the total capital costs of the system may be awarded.
