Health Workforce for Alberta • Increased functionality for job seekers and employers • Build a communication platform for the APL team, employers, and healthcare practitioners • Improve the recruitment process; making recruitment easier and more efficient • Update the website for modern browsers and mobile devices • Automate processes, increasing efficiency and ease for the employers 6 • Be competitive within the recruitment industry

Alberta’s recruitment website www.APLJobs.ca Process of refreshing – Planning Stage • We sought stakeholder feedback through teleconferences, survey monkey surveys, e-newsletters • We reached out to our B.C Provincial counterpart; Healthmatch BC as they just completed a refresh to their site Health Workforce for Alberta • We asked our partners: o What do you like about the current site? o What needs to go or change? o What is missing on the current APL? • We developed our “Dream List” – we thought big picture • We engaged IT and design resources with a vision as big as our own! 7
